Odd Exponential-Logarithmic Family of Distributions: Features and Modeling

This paper introduces a general family of continuous distributions, based on the exponential-logarithmic distribution and odd transformation. It is called “odd exponential logarithmic family”. We intend to create novel distributions with desired qualities for practical applications, using unique properties as an initial inspiration. Thus, we present some special members this that stand out versatile shape their corresponding functions. Then, comprehensive mathematical treatment provided, including asymptotic properties, determination quantile function, useful sum expression probability density tractable series expressions moments, moment generating Rényi entropy Shannon entropy, well results order statistics stochastic ordering. estimate model parameters quite efficiently by method maximum likelihood, discussions observed information matrix complete simulation study. As major interest, models reveal how successfully accommodate various kinds data. aspect demonstrated three data sets, showing outperforms two strong competitors in terms fitting.
